Christmas was fun and all the kids new toys continue to entertain. There have been many a nerf gun war, lots of movie watching, puzzles, playing with the new city rug, and use of the new faucet. As always we'll do the pictoral presentation:
The Family Nativity; this year was perfect because we had Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, (and a donkey)...

...Santa did make and appearance during the night,

...Santa did make and appearance during the night, Mom to Nate while waiting to go into the living room: "How do you know Santa came?"
Nate: "Because the stocking aren't hanging on the fireplace anymore; and I heard his boots on the roof; and he ate his goodies."
Zac enjoyed his candycane...
...and his car...
...Santa brought Ella a Teddy Bear...
...and Nathan got a Marshmallow gun...
...then you have gift contemplation...
...and gift concentration...
...New snow sleds (very useful for the one snow a year that we get around here, the kids are excited)...
...then there was the gift from Grandma and Grandpa...
...a percussion set...
...Thank You so Much! From: the children's parents...
...Zac slept off and on throught the day, so whenever he was awake we had him opening presents at a pretty quick pace...

"Bill Nye the Science Guy" a crowd favorite at our house...

...then there are the gifts from Amanda and Mark; new bed spreads that coordinate(for when they start sharing a room) ...
...and then we have the favorite gift, Nerf guns. Being the wise parents that we are, we made sure there was a gun for both Ella and Nate, however we let Ella open hers first so we could see Nathan's reaction (we knew he really wanted one of these). He insisted that Ella could share her gun, but first he was forced to look for cover as the bullets came flying (and even though there isn't a picture Nate really did get a gun too)...
...Ella was given her first Princess gift, and wore it the whole rest of the day...
...then there were more guns for Nathan (as if he didn't have enough already, when it rains it pours?)...
...Zac inspected many of his gifts prior to opening them...
...and then inspected them after they were open too...
...A tired Zac sporting his reindeer bib from Aunt Maddie...
...and later zonking out in front of the tree...
...Mama and Dadda got a new kitchen faucet for Christmas and the boys installed it on Saturday.
...Thank you to all and to all a good night.
