Rockets! Rockets!Rockets! All day long things are blasting off at our house, or you hear "Mom, we're going to the moon,""The first stage just dropped off," "Are you ready to be an astronaut?"
That is all Nathan can talk about since we went to the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Rockets. Like the Saturn V, F1, below.
There was a restored Saturn V. Mercury and Gemini space capsules. Apollo trainers. A lunar lander. A moon rock. A space shuttle orbiter and accompanying boosters. A lot of rocket history and history about Werner Von Braun. Some mock ups of skylab and the space station. It's was all pretty cool.
This picture shows you Nate's favorite part of the trip, the Saturn V. (This is a mock up.) And it takes two shots to get the whole thing.

They both went into the tank with the fish (one of those kid bubbles you crawl into).
We all enjoyed watching the fish and sharks from the "under water caves".
