We spent a few hours playing in the snow Saturday night, and several hours playing in the snow Sunday morning.
The snow was great for snow balls, Ella made one herself, no sweat...Nathan threw snowballs at everyone...
Ella and Daddy went sledding (or as Ella calls it "sit-down weeee")...
Nathan and Mommy went sledding...
Then Nathan and Daddy built a snowman to finish off our snowy night.
Sunday morning Ella looked out the window and said "Oh, my!" because there was still snow on the ground. And then when we started to gather up all the coats and gloves to go out again she kept saying "sit-down weeeee, sit-down weeeee". We think she likes sleding.
Ella going down the hill by herself...
Nathan's 'biggest snowball ever'...
Ella 'the snow baby'...
Nathan's snow cave (thanks daddy)...
Nathan's very own snowman, built all by himself...
Daddy's very own snowman (yes, he built it all by himself)...
And one last picture of silly Ella.
(She had come in the house and later saw daddy's great big snowman, so daddy took her out to see it up close, and to sit on a snow ball it appears.)
Moral of the story, we wouldn't mind a few more winter days like this every year.
