The Birthday Girl

It is official: Ella is now 2.

However, she has been practicing for this wonderful age by rehearsing her crying and stubbornness, just to see if Mom and Dad mean what they say. But these moments are rather seldom. Generally Miss Ella is our busy, sweet helper. She loves to sit and play or read, she lovvveeesss being outside, and she loves to "clean-up clean-up" toys, little spills, and dishes from the dishwasher. Ella was so excited when we said she could open her presents. She sat down in the middle of her gifts and started pulling paper out of the sacks and getting out her presents. She would look at each one for a second, set it down and move on to the next, it was really cute. (Enjoying some presents.)

Ella loves Winnie the Pooh, so she got a 'Winnie Cake'.
