Today's entertainment came to us. 
Our neighborhood streets got their final paving. (Those who have been to our house know how bumpy and full of patches the roads in our neighborhood were.) 
FYI: In case any one ever wondered how far one dump-truck load of asphalt goes, we now know: from the stop sign to our mail box.
Our whole family hung out outside for an hour and watched our street get a fresh coat of black-top.
